Centegra Health & Wellness Network (CHWN) is an association of more than 100 of the best primary care physicians and 300 of the top specialists in the region. CHWN provides members access to the largest physician network in McHenry County. CHWN has again received the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois Blue Ribbon award. Awarded in both 2013 and 2014, this distinction demonstrates CHWN’s high level of performance in providing patient care and patient satisfaction. The Blue Ribbon is awarded to Independent Practice Associations (IPAs) who meet rigorous benchmarks based upon national clinical practice and preventive care guidelines with a score of 75 percent of greater. CHWN received a higher score than the network of IPAs in all categories.
